Ever wonder how NYC gets its water and why it’s so good?
Come hear Scot Chesman PhD speak about the construction of City Water Tunnel # 3 and the Moshulu Tunnel, which brings Croton water into the new filtering plant being built under Van Cortland park. Scot has worked on both.
Scot is a geologist and sandhog whose unique combination of theory and practice makes him a highly sought after consultant on tunnel construction by the NYCDEP and major contractors like Schiavone and Skanska.
